is there any thing out there reef safe that will eat hair alge?any urchens or something along those lines?

Sea hares, sailfin tangs, errr....well, tons of things actually. Can you give some more info on your tank setup so we can make sure to give you the best options for your tank? Also-might be worth putting up your tank parameters as well (nitrate, alk, phosphate, etc)- no use getting a critter to eat the hair algae if it's just going to keep growing back on ya

i have a 120gal recently i had a little heat spike and my mag leaves dorped a bit but im working on that .i have 3 tangs in the tank 2 clowns,1 manderin 1 fire fish 1 all types of snails.i can give you better water leavels next week .(whating for a new test kite to come in)

the amount type and the amount of food your putting can help stop hair algae from coming back over and over again. but try to rip out as much as you can before u add the consumer. theres a greater chance this way of eliminating it out of your tank this way or keeping it under control with a tiny feeding population of hair algae
