Hair? Web? Vermetids?

I don't know what these are. Probably a dozen mostly on the live rock, some on the sand.

There is no tube or anything at the base of the whispy string. They do retract when disturbed.

I did remove a lone vermetid from a frag a week ago, did it outside the tank, rinsed, etc. However, it was in the DT (entered 4 months ago, just found it!).

What is it, if not baby vermetids and what can I do about it in any event?
