Hairy algae among zoanthids

I have this hairy algae growing among zoanthids but not elsewhere. Nitrates are about 10 ppm and Phosphates less than .02 but not zero.

GHA can definitely choke out zoas. If you can take that rock out and dip it for 2 minutes in a 50/50 mix of tank water and hydrogen peroxide, it will kill the algae. The zoas may pout for a while, but they'll survive.

If the rock can't be removed, you can turn off all circulation and apply hydrogen peroxide to the area with a turkey baster. But be careful not to add to much to your tank at one time. It irritated a condylactis in my tank that went nuclear and killed a bunk of other corals once. I would limit it to .5 ml for every 10 gallons your tank holds. Repeat daily until it's all gone.
