So I saw a hairy crab hitchhiker today and was wondering if they were bad enough to warrant removal?

Definitely warrants removal! Banishment to the sump until you can positively I.D. it. Most harry crabs = badness.

Almost a certainty that it will cause problems. Had a gorilla crab kill a Coral Beauty Angel once. Now Rule #1 = Never trust a crab.
