Looks like I'm losing a few fuzzy mushrooms are dying!! Someone told me they may be splitting. They are very hardy coral and all my other corals are doing great including sps, hammers, torches , etc..! What you think!? They turned from normal to this in a day!!

It looks perfectly fine to me. You might be overdoing it with the light, but I doubt it. I have literally-accidentally (I'm not a mad scientist, for any who keep track of my "accidents!")-ripped one in half before, and it grew back as two new ones.

This Is what they look like the day before

Oh.
Nevermind.

Change in elements? Like, conditions, maybe.

Nope. I did add a tiny clown goby and lyretail anthia. But don't think they are messing with it. Next question is if they are dead are they toxic to my tank? Should I try scrapping the dead one off the rock?

I would leave it alone. Mine get annoyed for unknown reasons periodically but always come back in a day or two. It may just be irritated by one of the new fish or something.

It actually looks a little better today. And they are just opening up from the lights

My green clown goby moved straight on to my fluffy shrooms, they could be sulking?
I have about 10 or 15 now, can't say I have noticed them look like that when splitting but could be.

I have a green clown goby also. When I put him in he went under the hairy mushroom rock. THat may be it? I haven't seen him since. He is tiny and my tank is huge
