Hairy Mushroom - too prolific?

Mine grow like wildfire but confined to same rock. I get a stray that runs to another rock which im ok with

The whole tank is mushrooms and nems with no isolated rocks. So I'm all in if I go for it. Maybe I'll wait on this one so my other mushrooms don't get out-competed for space. Thanks.

I have my neon green hairy mushrooms (Rhodactis indosinensis) glued onto the back wall of my tank. They came on a little piece of live rock and they kept splitting, so I decided to glue it on the back wall and just let them go. They’ve done really well there but aren’t spreading as quickly (they’re getting more light but also more flow). I’ve since glue a couple other types of Rhodactis back there, I think a variety of mushrooms is prettier and has more variety and texture than GSP (though I’m trying to get that to grow on part of the back wall also, its just not making the leap from the rock to the wall), it helps it to not look so flat (if that makes sense).

Mine grew like crazy and are killing off my speckled mushroom. One turned into 4 in a matter of months. One just detached, not sure why. Not so sure if I should leave or try to get rid of.

I'm considering a neon green hairy mushroom for my new mushroom tank. Are they too prolific? Will they spread too fast and cause issues for the other mushrooms?

I purchased one and it turned into 4 within months. Killed my speckled mushroom. I just ripped one out today as it was growing up my Gorgonian.
