Hairy vs tentacle/petal Goniopora

I notice some goniopora have hairy looking tentacles and some have flower petal looking tentacles. Why? Are they all from the same species?

Goniopora - pointed tips
Alveopora - rounded tips

some people claim alveopora are less difficult but a lot of the goni’s are aquaculture now which make them a lot easier than mariculture ones. Good luck!
