My Florida's have been super happy this far, but about a week ago, half of my three mouth Ricordia bleached and shrank a little bit. I have been slowly bringing my light intensity up (two Kessil 160s over a 25g peninsula).

Oddly, it's the lower half that gets less light that is unhappy. The other half gets more direct light and seems fine. My other two rics close by are happy. I do feed a few times a week (reef roids, frozen mysis/krill, coral cane).

Maybe it is just because it is about to split? The happy/unhappy demarcation is pretty apparent.

i have 10 different ones on 1 rock, and i often see one or the other would just close up/shrink for a day or so, then open back up

I know my Acan also looks ticked but something crawled over it. It's normal big and puffy.

Looks close to mine but assure no increase in phosphates, salinity and alk.
My best ones are in moderate to medium light. Splitting is very possible

I put it on the sand bed. Not much has happened other than some color returned and then I got a case of dinos. That surely hasn't helped. It never split oddly enough but maybe because the dinos have put a lot of pressure on everything. Everything is ticked off and shriveled a bit except my torches lol. Thanks for checking in.
