Is it safe to put in main tank as it’s healing it’s dead area now? The dead part happened a while ago. I just received it as a blemished coral. It’s such a nice piece for $25

I purchased a chalice at a deep discount that was peeling back from it's skeleton and placed it straight in the tank, several months later the flesh grew back and now it is really healthy.
The first pic was the day I received it, it was so drawn that it was pulling away from the skeleton and what it looks like a few days ago, you can't even see the edge of the chalice with all its flesh hanging over.
As long as your tank parameters are good, go ahead and place it in your tank

Chalices Very forgiving and do bounce back

Thank you everyone, and that’s a beautiful chalice! Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t going to harm my tank. Excited to see it grow.
