Do a 3-4 day antibiotic dip ( tetracycline preferably), if not available any wide specter antibiotic will be helpful.

Can I use things like API-Furan or Seachem-Metroplex? I have both on hand.

I googled the contents. Api-Furan main ingredient is Nitrofurazone which has a wide specter effect on both, gram-positive and gram-negative bacterias. It will do. For Metroplex, I am not sure what the content is, I can not find it online.
