I have just bought a 20ltr 25x25x20 small tank.

I plan on separating it into two 10l compartments for copepods cultures.

I have got some acrylic I plan on siliconing in to split the tank. Is there any special silicone I should be looking at? Obviously don't want any chemicals leaking in.

This is designed for aquariums.

You can also use GE Silicone #1 from hardware stores... just make sure it's not the kind that says it is mildew resistant... which I think may be GE silicone #2

I'd use readily available 100% clear silicone from your local HD/Lowes - as long as it doesn't say "kitchen and Bath" or mold inhibitor you'll be fine. Just make sure you allow it to cure completely before adding water.
