I have a H. biocellatus that I added to my tank maybe two weeks ago (after roughly a month of qt). He eats very well and he's crazy fat. Yesterday I found a big astrea on the sand, I've had 6 of these big guys for 4 months now and never once had to flip one. I think he is dead. Then today I saw the wrasse destroy a stomatella snail, I was only home because I was waiting for a shipment of clean up crew snails. Now he's just mowing down tiny ceriths. Is this just he way it goes? I take it there's no strategies to minimize this behavior other than feeding a lot (which I do, and thus ironically why I need more clean up crew).
