when you read 1on the color chart is there another way to read it or is 1ppm phosphate also on the api nitrate test when you read 40 is 40 or .40 don't seem to understand

A lil confused, API you say? and is hallifert, Salifert?
Are you saying it doesn’t agree or you saying the lowest reading is 1 ?

sorry about the spelling wha am trying to understand is on the api test when it says 40 nitrates is 40 0r 4.0 the card says 05,10,20 and so on are those actual numbers or do you have to change them to something else
