Not sure what to do its in low light and low flow for now. All params are fine but alk is a little low, thanks anything would help. After work I might try an iodine dip. Maybe.

Try the dip and keep it where you have it, but unfortunately it looks like it's going to the zoa graveyard. Sucks

No not from neptunes cove. Ok thanks richie. I was out of town for 5 days and when I came back this is what it looked like. Something ****** it off, probably a mistake I made. Thanks guys

Ouch. Yea I would do a dip on it as well. Bayer is preferred method but yea it's on it's way out the door

Before considering any dips or any remedies has anything changed in regards to your tank parameters? some inhabitants bothering nipping at it cause that polyp looks stressed

Nothing nipping at it. Everything else is fine in tank. I was out of town for five days and came back to this. I'm guessing a I had a little ph swing from my results. And my alk was low. I'm slowly bringing everything back to normal. Thanks for help. Gona wait and see if it starts to look happier, before I dip.

Try dipping for 5 min on a cup of tank water with a few ice cubes. The colder temp. makes them bring their insides back in most of the times. I wouldn't dip on anything.

make sure you don't fresh water dip for 10minutes...... i made that mistake a few days ago. almost lost a bunch of zoas i did loose 15 utter chaos... soooooooo mad.... GOOD LUCK tho man. i hope it survives.

Ok thanks so much for help. I hate to loose this one. Ill keep u guys posted if u care. Thanks y'all

Wish you luck with this battle bud I'm sure all of us have been here at one point or another I know I sure have with zoAs chalices and favias

If u do the ice cube trick how long does it take for insides to go back in?

I mirror what Josh said, I personally wouldn't dip especially when the polyp looks stressed as is. you might just push it over the cliff. I say get your water paramters right.

Z's and P's are very sensitive to ph and Alk issues.

I'm working on slowly bringing my alk back up. Being gone for 5 days didn't help. I learned a lesson here thanks everyone.

Hope it goes well for you bud, recently had water parameter issues my self lost my blue rhino's too and a couple of other nicely colored polyps didn't know my salinity was at 1.3 plus for a couple weeks till I checked the other day when polyps were melting.
