Hamilton M80 250 ballast?

i noticed that on Hamilton website it says there out of stock, does anyone know if there discontinued or when they are getting them in? They have been out for a month or 2, They are awesome ballast and I hope there not getting rid of them!

I haven't heard anything of them discontinuing that ballast. I hope not either but with all the electronic ballasts and the major shift to leds by most I wouldn't be surprised.

They are not discontinued unless they just did it, because I bought a pair from them less than a year ago (I sold mine however). They are nice ballasts though.

Ya that's what I was thinking, I pray they come back!! I need 4 of them! Lol o well, I may have to reluctantly change with the times.

I just ordered one of their MH fixtures from @MarineDepot but, had to call to get the optional electronic ballasts... I don't know if it's the same ballast model as you're looking for but it seems that they're still offering that type (electronic) of ballast... They're a bit more and folks tend to shy away from them just because of the price... IMO they are worth the extra cash, no flickering, quieter, smaller, less weight, less environmental impact, and better energy efficient means less cash spent long term.

I called them a while ago to ask a few questions, they seemed happy to help.

Ya, I'm looking to run radions, so I want to match them with the appropriate M80 Magnetic Ballast which the bulb is designed for. the electronics are great, I'm sure the quality is top notch!

I know of a few folks on here that run "radions" with the Hamilton electronics ballast... they speak nothing but high praise about the combo... I love the "blue-look" from them but, want to try the 14k's the unit comes with first to get a baseline on growth... either way I have done MH, LED, LED T5 combo but, I'm going back to MH... good luck tracking down the ballast you're looking for!
