I have a fluval flex 32.5 gallon with 2 mp10s. Everything else is stock. All of my levels are good, yet my Duncans and hammer are not opening. The duncan very little and the hammer is constricted still. I added them yesterday. When I got home from work the duncan was closed up tight so I moved him. Are the 2 mp10s to much flow? I have them on low and lagoon...

Can you please list exactly what your parameters are? That will greatly assist in the process. Your understanding of "good'' parameters may be different than what is actually needed. Duncan's and Hammer's prefer a low to medium flow. Take a look at the coral as it is now. Is it being tossed around violently? Or gently waving in the current? Mp10s are perfect for that tank no doubt about it. It may take more than just a day, maybe two or three at the most until, for it to open up.

I'll add them tomorrow when I retest. I moved them and they both seem to be doing much better.

What other corals do you have? We’re they open yesterday or haven’t been at all? How olds the tank? What setting are the mp10s at?

The tank is 6 weeks old. The other Corals were open, zoas, gsp, candy canes and favia. All frags. I have both mp10s set to lagoon on the lowest setting. One is mobius ready and say about 450 gph.

I have found that frozen soaked with selcon is amazing for the fish and the rest of the nutrients from the frozen give amazing traces to the corals (aminos etc)
