My blastos and Acan are doing really well but my lepastraea is turning brown so idk what to do for that one. My nutrients aren’t that high so I’m putting it on the ground in case it’s the excess light that’s turning it brownI dont think anyone has asked yet, are there any other LPS in your system that arent doing to well?
Often they bleach when getting too much bright light and even flow. Assure phosphate is not elevated which will irritate them in several ways and feed them mysis shrimp -Not plankton foods such as reef roids which will raise your phosphates and promote algae.
Alright so should I lower the light and flow for a bit and see how it is?Often they bleach when getting too much bright light and even flow. Flow Slightly and what light are you using ?Alright so should I lower the light and flow for a bit and see how it is?
A029 I’m keeping it around the 100-150 par range for the hammer but not sure exactly what it is since the egg crate lid is blocking part of itFlow Slightly and what light are you using ?
don’t have a second way of checking salinity. just check to see if it’s 1.025 since that’s the salinity I always keep it at. Mag I don’t have a test kit for so I’ll be getting one to checkHow calibrated?

I see I’ll take a look at it. thanksRead this. Make a solution, it's in the article
Edit: one of the biggest mistakes I see here is calibrating with rodi. This is not the way.
I believe this is an aquaknight light and is 30 watts and may be insufficient for this coral.A029 I’m keeping it around the 100-150 par range for the hammer but not sure exactly what it is since the egg crate lid is blocking part of it
It’s been doing really well before this so I’m not sure why it would suddenly not work. Anything I should do? Can’t exactly afford a new light right nowI believe this is an aquaknight light and is 30 watts and may be insufficient for this coral.
