I have a hammer coral that is bleaching out. It's been a month or two and nothing has changed. Thought I would pay some pics and get some help.

Lights have been the same since day one of the tank. Everything else is doing well, and included pics for comparison.
It seems as though it is worse under the lights, the left hand side of the colony faces a glass door and gets some sunlight in the morning and seems to be doing slightly better.

Any help is much appreciated. I'll post parameters once I test them.

Parameters are important.
What kind of light you have brewing there?

They're older marineland reef lights. 4 x 48 in lights. The tank is 30in tall and the hammer is in the bottom 12 in of the tank.

They're white and blue, oldest is about 3yrs old and the newest is maybe a year old.

They are LED, I reread my post and it looks like I inferred t5 bulbs.

They are four led fixtures, 48in each, with blue and white led.

Ok, if they were bulbs they were to old but with leds your good.

Jut waiting on your results from testing.
Maybe if possible take a sample of water to a LFS as you have something to compare when you test yourself.

Salinity 1.024
pH is a little low, 7.9-8
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 0
Nitrite 0

I don't have a test kit for alk or calcium. I haven't tested for those in the past, take is mostly softy and lps.

It's just odd that only one coral is affected. I'm leaning toward it being the lights. Maybe they're getting old and spectrum has shifted a little in them.

Nitrates low? Mine are happiest higher

I'm gonna try raising the ph first, then nitrates. Probably take 2 weeks or so to raise ph, then let it sit for a month. Then raise the nitrates if needed.
