Hey Brad here!,

I woke up today and saw a rock on top of my hammer coral. Immediately I pulled the rock off the hammer and it looks like some of the tentacles might be damaged. Any advice on what to do or to care for it?

*sorry for the cloudy water was reapplying some bond for the rocks*

A coral dip to help with possible infection might be a good idea, but if it's already glued to the rock, and seems to be extended, I'd just leave it rather than risk damaging it more or stressing it.

Sometimes doing nothing is the best thing we can do.

Thank you sir, wasn’t sure on the precautions to take!

Leave it alone if you water quality is good and lights are up to par it’ll survive it might shed some tentacles my frogspawn shed a few that were damaged pretty bad when they were shipped to me

It should be fine, I'd just leave it be. Mine unfortunately get bashed occasionally too, they usually come back fine. Unless they break, and then you get a new piece :)
