Not sure if this guy is damaged or just having a bad couple days. I've only had him for a couple weeks but he has this area on the right side where he it's expanding much and you can see black spots or areas at the end of a few of the polyps. Should I be concerned? He looks fine otherwise. I do have a couple of clowns that were recently added and one of them likes to try to nuzzle up in there but never stays long. Any thoughts?

It does look troubled and that area appears to possibly be damaged but there is nothing that you really can do about it at this point. Don't fret, let it ride, and so long as your parameters are good and consistent it should heal itself. Too often we intervene when leaving things alone would have produced positive results... over time. Patience grasshopper, patience. Corals are amazingly resilient and capable to heal themselves without our intervention given good conditions.
