I've recently added my first hammer and it's looking great but I'm curious why some of the polyps reach so much further out than the others. They're in the middle left and middle right especially. Is this normal? Any feedback is greatly appreciated as I'm still new to coral keeping.

This is pretty normal. Having them all uniform would be the more unusual situation.

Looks fine to me. I have several hammers, of various types... none like much in the way of flow.
