I think one of my emerald crabs are most of my purple hammer coral. It was in the tank about two weeks and looked awesome. It was probably one of my favorite in there. I’m not sure what to do being pretty new to saltwater so any help please. I don’t know if it might grow back or if I should get rid of it. I’ve added a before and after. Tank perimeters are 1.025 salt, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 phosphate, 5 nitrate, calcium 450.

I only moved it to get it off the bottom of the tank hoping to keep the crab away from it.

Moving I️t higher might’ve stressed I️t out. I really don’t think a crab would mess with I️t too much. If so definitely remove the crab. It’s probably the change in light exposure

It was like that before I moved it. There was pieces of it all over my tank earlier so the crab is the only thing I can thrill of that could have done it. I can look down in the hard part of the coral which I couldn’t do before it looks empty
