I got a hammer coral back in August, and accidentally 'killed it'. It is not dead, but it hasn't died yet if that makes sense, it's just been hanging on for the past couple months. I expected that once I saw its skeleton it would be gone so I just left it in the tank, but it still has not fully died. Pictures are added to show more of what I am explaining, I don't think it'll fully die, but I am not sure on what I can do to get it to recover. Water has been good recently so it's been doing well for where it normally is, any recommendations on what I can do to help it?

They thrive off:
Moderate light and water flow
Calcium of at least 400
Regular feedings - mysis shrimp
Ph 8.1-8.3
Phos <.04
Nitrate <.15

It will appreciate a snack to help rejuvenate. Not reef roids that blow all over, something it can grab and steer to it's mouth. My euphyllia love Vitalis LPS pellets. I would literally give something in the shape of your coral one pellet once or twice a week but only if you see it pulling it to it's mouth and not just dropping it on the ground.

Also to add to vetteguy's list, some people believe higher than average magnesium benefits euphyllia. I keep mine in the vicinity of 1500ppm and everything is full and happy. Can't say that's specifically the reason.

Mine love clean new water from reef crystals. And very low light. You have 2 possible issues, water or light or both. Mine hated high par and started to deteriorate intil I turned my lights intensity down
