Just picked up these hammer frags and I would like them to be next to eachother and grow into eachother as ones a green hammer and the other is a gold one. Will they sting eachother or are they good together? I read that branching hammers can go with other branching hammers but I just want to make sure and hear other peoples thoughts. Thanks

They should be fine. I have a variety of hammers right next to each other without any problems. If you’re really worried, slowly bring them closer to eachother and observe for any reaction. Beautiful pieces btw!

Hard to tell without them being closed up, but the gold looks like a branch and the green looks like a wall.

Looking at the base when closed will tell you if they are branching or wall hammer. Does it have a head branching out a trunk like a tree? Or is the skeleton more bulky with the flesh cut off at some area?

Generally, they should grow fine by each other particularly if they are both Indo or both Australian. If your unsure, I would keep them as they are and just monitor if they seem to upset each other.

The gold is really nice!

I don’t know if these pictures would help but I tried
