I'm personally not sure - but know members will most likely ask you for water specs.
PH/Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate/Calcium/Alkalinity/Phosphates/Salinity/Temp & if you have, Magnesium

Nitrate 0
Calcium 450
Amonionia
Ph 8.4

There is magnesium in there as i use red sea salt to SG 1.026

He was looking fine until i changed the water. I did notice last minute that the water was cold due to transition. He is opening out more now

Corals will "slime" when stressed, if you had a wide enough delta from the WC between new water temp and tank water temp it could have caused that reaction. the second pic looks like it is back to being healthy. Keep us posted if it changes!

Thank you. Im putting my finger down to the temp of the new water. It is open more but seems to be patchy. Ill see what hes like tomorrow. Lesson learnt about water temp having to be the same

So this is what it looks like today. Looking much better although i think it has spread to a different part of my tank? On the sand What do you think? Or just damaged tissue?

Probably damaged tissue. Hammers don't drop "frags" like Xenia does.

Just reacting to water change with slime. Looking much better as it adjusts.
