Hammer Coral losing some of it's tissue below the head. Some sort of green algae? What steps to remove/treat etc... Pictures are taken at night with the lights turned on.

Honestly I have this algae too, never messed with the actual polyp of the hammer. Could it be your parameters?

How old is tank? Ive noticed your gsp is closed as well.

The algae isn’t causing flesh recession, it’s just growing where the flesh used to be. My euphyllia will randomly get in a funk and pout for a few days at a time. I usually pull them out and do a heavy iodine dip to make sure there aren’t any open wounds the coral is struggling to repair.

PM's checked Saturday. Lights had been turned off for a while so that is why the polyps have receded so much... sorry about that.
