Hi everyone

Have some odd looking polyps coming out of my hammer coral. They either have tiny heads at the end, or none at all. Is this new polyps forming and slowing growing new heads? Or is something up and their loosing them somehow

Just one small section of the hammer, the rest looks fantastic.

Thanks!

Either it’s irritated or it’s splitting.

+1, usually happens to my frogspawn when they are a bit irritated by something (could be flow or just the cleaner shrimp). I wouldn’t worry too much about it as it will most likely expand fully soon.

Thanks! Its looking its best since I've had it, so I'm going to hope its splitting lol

One other thing, is there any other corals close by that can “sting” it by Extending tentacles out?
