I moved everything to a new tank and this hammer is the only thing that isn’t fully extended and happy. He doesn’t look too bad, but he’s normally much more expanded. Is this too much flow for him? Or not enough? I am a little limited in space because of his long sweepers and a galaxea with the same issue. I could move him up higher on the rock.

Let me know if you can’t see the video. I can’t usually see videos on the site for some reason

Hammers don't need much flow to be happy, in fact most don't need much light to be happy either. It's possible the flow is too much but there are so many other factors in play that usually the tanks parameters/nutrients levels are needed

Sorry just loading the video but it won't show

Let’s try again. Parameters as of the weekend: ppt 35, alk 8.5, cal 425, mag 1510 (always high), po4 .043, nitrate 5.2

All looks good both parameters and hammer.
That flow might be a bit much, that could result in not fully expanding.

Hammer does look good agreed. Flow might be a little high but it's definitely not what I pictured, looks quite healthy :)

Cool, thanks. I’ll have to find a better place for him or adjust my flow a bit.
