Hammer coral placement

Not sure what conductivity equation difference is but 43 does not seem right. Is it using a probe?
I know that this was a long time ago and I am sure you either crashed and burned or you are a Rockstar by now. I was just going to add in case someone else reads this down the line. But, 43ppt is absolutely way high and is Definitely not ok for any fish or coral. I run all of my reef tanks at 35ppt and that is what I would call the very highest you would want to run it. I have gotten to 36ppt maybe 37 for a very short period like minutes. But 43ppt for more than a few minutes would imo be detrimental to the coral, fish, and inverts. Anyway, like I said I am sure you have learned a lot since this post. Hopefully still kicking butt in the hobby.
