Hammer coral question

what's the cause of some of the tentacles to get long and skinny . Is this anything to worry about?
 
The coral is basically just trying to get a feel for it's surroundings. Anything within reach might get stung, so definitely give the coral plenty of space. GL.
 
It's next to frogspawn and torch coral, I was thinking euphilias could be within touching distance, hope that's correct
 
Yeah that's like it's stinging tentacles if there's other types of corals and beating its space it'll sting them
 
Thanks cloak, I will read up on that article. Thanks jvgomes73, appreciate the quick responses. I actually don't think there close enough to touch, but I may try to space them out a little more just in case

For now...but they will grow and touch eventually. If you keep an eye out, just frag them back if they get too close to each other.
