Hammer coral question?

So I'm new to reefing and I just got my first hammer coral. I have Had it about two months now and it's doubled in size. I saw several tentacles growing on the side of the base. Looks like new heads or is something worse growing on the coral? Just would love some input.

Okay that's what I thought they were just unsure. Yea I'm really enjoying this coral. There's eight new heads growing right now.

That's awesome, I just picked up a couple hammer frags myself at Reefapalooza NY last week. Looking forward to watching them grow too!

This was my first coral I bought. I have had a lot of goodluck with it. It has always been open never closes up ever.
