Had a hammer for about 3 month now.
It's grown to about 3 times it's size but I've just noticed something growing on the stalk where it has been fragged, not sure if its a new head or some sort of pest. I attached pictures, any help would be appreciated!

Sponge? That right there is a brown recluse spider egg sac. You need to burn the coral and the tank....it is the only way to be sure. Haha jk. You might see more of them pineapple sponges pop up. They are harmless and don't get very big either.

Definitely a pineapple sponge. This means your parameters are very healthy.

Yeah after James pointed out what it was able to get information about it. I'm glad the tank is doing so well, I've been making my water changes weekly and check parameters daily! Nothing better then to see hard work pay off, especially for someone new to the hobby like myself.

Thanks again for everyone whose helped here.
