Hammer coral question

Hello guys I have a quest about my hammer coral....wen I got it a year ago it had one head now it has like 8 heads now ...but there is no skeleton growth...all I see is flesh over the skeleton...is this normal? How long does it take to get skeleton growth?

Yes that can happen especially if wall hanner. Branching will be different. In mine below, they are as you described, all over. My branching has separate heads
