Hello!
I’ve had this purple ish hammer coral for about a month now, it was doing well until my last broadcast feeding, it has really poor polyp extension for these past few days. my other hammer is doing well really extended. The purple hammer is at the bottom of the tank with low flow. I included two photos of the purple hammer one week apart. Thank you guys in advance for any suggestions!
I have a 75 gallon,

0ppm of nitrites
Less than 5 ppm of nitrates
1440 mg
11.2 alk
500 cal
8.2 pH

What's the phosphate level? Could also try to increase flow.

With higher alk the phosphate and nitrates need there as well.

I have no idea what the phosphate levels are, I will go to a store and get a test kit tomorrow. I’ll try to increase the flow and see if there’s any change! Thank you!

Since the tissue looks like it is receding, I would recommend doing an iodine dip with Lugol’s or Seachem Reef Dip. It helps a lot of fleshy lps corals in my experience and helps heal bacterial infections.

I’ll give that a try then! After I test for the phosphates! But thank you for the advice!

That alk is kinda high. Has the hammer gotten better?
