Hey can anyone tell me if the coral is splitting or unhappy. It used to be one long piece with a single mouth. Thinking this is now in the process of splitting.

I'm having no other issues. Other corals seem happy and params all good.

Not happy. Its skeleton is exposed. Its receding like something is irritating it.

That section of the hammer unfortunately appears to be dead, or just about dead. If that is a wall hammer you will slowly see the tissue keep receding until the entire hammer is dead. Sorry

Okay thank you. It's weird because last night it was all out, only this morning was that one side retracted. Should I look for holes or pests? Maybe dip.

Hi All, I've noticed some white fuzzy stuff covering that head. See attached. What is it?

Could be flat worms. Did you try and dip it? Or dip it before adding?
I did when I first got it (3 months ago). I've done another dip, if it doesn't work then maybe a fresh water dip. I've noticed the yellow tang is pecking at the white stuff.

Unfortunately, I don’t think it’s likely that it makes it. It appears to be a wall hammer and the rest of the coral is likely to die with it given the current recession.

I agree. Wall hammers are so difficult, unlike branching (E. parancora) where you can lop off a head. A problem spreads to the whole colony.

Edit: LPS forum would be better in the future, by the way.
