Hammer coral sulking or dying?

Hi, recently purchased a 10 headed hammer coral, first day came out with in a matter of hours looking perfect. However, day after it pull all back in and hasn’t come out since been 3 days, tried moving high up to give a bit more light. Can anyone help?
Parameters:
Nitrates: 10 PPM
Phosphates: 0.25 PPM
Alk: 9.6
Cal:405PPM
Mg: 1250 PPM

Just want to add, I have another hammer in my tank coming out perfect. Also have may lps all doing great, can’t canes, acans, elegance coral, Alveopora. Could flow effect them this bad?

Our hammers do best in the rockwork the way you have it. They do not like being the highest coral in the tank . Good flow is best that goes back and forth. A heavy 1 way current will cause them to pull away from there exo. Did you dip her prior to putting in your tank ? That sometimes ( not often) will slow them down if the dip was a lil too strong. Have you tried any reef roids or coral frenzy type feeds to encourage them to open ? Not that this makes you feel any better but I have had a branching hammer colony remove themselves from the hard exo and come back bigger a year later in a completely different spot. I thought once they did that they were gonners, nope. If your parameters are correct only time will tell. High light, high flow especially at first will keep them closed much longer. We have had these everywhere in our tank . This has been the spot that they have started to really grow the best.

Feed reef Roids yesterday, they seem to feed a little. Their mouths seemed to swell a little. Didn’t dip. I put some Red Sea reef energy in today seem to have made them come out a little more. Move them down a little. Think one head is defiantly a goner, brown slime coming out.

think the brown stuff was reef roids being spit out as head not letting out slim. Bought some iodine dip so if it is I can cut head and dip the head off. Thing is the mouths all seem swollen up is there a reason why this would be. Sorry for bad quality picture.

ALWAYS EVERYTIME DIP your corals. It is not an option . Iodine or coral rx. If it came from a lfs and you didn't dip you have a good chance to get bad hitch hikers and or disease. I would pull it and dip it and put back and leave alone for better or worse. If it doesn't make it maybe get a hammer from someone on here that has healthy colonies , wink, wink, i may know someone .
