I just noticed this white patch of stuff on top of my hammer coral. It has not opened up yet. Does anyone know what this is?

It looks like a cluster of fluffy white stuff. Never seen it before just showed up this morning.

I've not seen that kind of stuff before unfortunately, but I know they can spit slime out when they're ticked. It Doesn't look like the brown jelly stuff I know Euphyllia(sp) can get.

Have you tried to remove it with tweezers or anything? What are your water parameters?
