Hammer Coral!!

Hey guys so i have this new hammer coral and its my first coral! I just wanted to make sure its in a good spot and that it will grow because honestly when i got it from the lfs store it was bigger and its already been more than 3 weeks since i got the coral.. all my levels are in check ammonio 0 nitrate raises just a little but i just did a 10 gallon water change and nitrites are at 0. Tank is about 2 months in and i still have a little bit of diatoms

Looks okay to me. Hammers like indirect moderate flow.
They also like a bit of Nitrate. 5-10 ppm is a good place to start.

Okay normally do they show growth fast or does it take a while i have two led current ic pro setup

It takes a while for them to get settled and start to show growth. Once they are happy and start growing, they can grow rather quickly.

Yup...looks good to me also. They will grow fairly decently once settled in as well. On average, mine double in heads about every 3-4 months. I know that seems like a long time and everyone can be different with their growth but 1 turns to 2 then 4 and so on.

Congrats on your first coral though. Just be warned, the addiction can be strong.
