Can’t figure out y my Rasta hammer is so open on the one side any help would be great

That’s a bi color hammer. It looks open from your pic

The right side head looks like the center is ballooned out. Can’t see its mouth. Just wondering if there’s something wrong

When they balloon up like that, it's about to split a head. Sometimes it happens in hours, and sometimes it takes a few days.

Splitting means it's growing and your doing a good job.

FYI a hammer is a LPS not a softie. It has a stony hard skeleton under those polyps.

Ty for correcting me lol I’m new to keeping corals so the terminology I’m still learning. My system is 3 years old but just recently started to get nicer coral
