I got a new coral today and I cut the frag plug and accidentally cut a little piece of the bottom part. While I was removing the hammer, one piece of the head came off. Is my coral dying?

Too soon to tell. Give it some time to recover. Keep your tank stable is key.

Not uncommon for euphyillas to be unhappy when introduced into new environment. Mine took 2-3 days before coming out and about a month of stability before it’s fully extended.

Iodine dip helps. Keep your eyes on jelly like tissue falling off
