Hammer coral

A picture in white lighting and a list of parameters would help give a starting point for answers.
Some things I could think of - too much / not enough light/flow, nutrients too low/high, something is irritating it (fish nipping, pests, etc..), params are off (salinity, alk, etc), params are not steady (water changes causing swings in params for example)

I had recession for quite a while and couldn't figure out what was happening so I sent off an icp. I was super low iodine. I believe around 0.01. I started dosing some and noticed a very immediate change in not only my euphyllia(who started to regrow flesh down their skeletons) but also my zoas and ricordea being more open and vibrant.

This was my specific issue and may not be yours. But just another thing to check. I have also had resession with spiking and dipping phosphates. As well as low nitrates.
