I have a lot of LPS in my tank and two of my hammers are beginning to touch. can euphillyia touch or will they sting each other?I have a torch that is getting close as well. What about Acropora? can they touch or will they kill each other?

thanks!Like species can usually touch without damage. Torches usually have a more potent sting so keeping the away is generally a good idea. Some acropora can touch while others can't. LPS can sting and damage acropora
thank you!Hammers will probably be fine, maybe even the torch. If you notice that where they touch the ends have attached themselves together then they are fighting (one is eating the other). Just make sure they don’t touch the acros. Just keep an eye on them looking for that sticking together thingy I mentioned.

nice to know! thank you very much!I've had hammers touch and be perfectly fine. According to The Reef Aquarium Euphyllias can touch just not grape coral E. cristata. I'd still be cautious and keep an eye on it. Acropora I'll let others with more experience chime in. The tank is being set up, but it's going to be a bit![]()
