Moved Thread to LPS Discussion. You'll get more looks in here.
Nitrate and Phosphate readings? Lighting? How long have you had it?

Okay, so I'm looking at a relatively new tank. There seems to be plenty of flesh on the coral. It's not extending like it should. Is there too much light? Has it been in a new tank for just a few days?

It's from a change in it's environment.

This is in a 8 gal nano with 9w led beamswork light. Ph 8.2 nitrates at 45 had for a few days salinity at 1.029

Ok, your Nitrates are way to high for LPS, and your SG is way to high, and we are guessing because of the Hydrometer.

IF YOU HAD TO TAKE A REEFING EXAM, WOULD YOU PASS?
