Anyone able to suggest why the green hammer is dying ? I have had it for 6 months . 2 days ago after target feeding reef roids it decided not to open .
Rest of the tank are not affected.
My routine is to target feed reef roids one a week . Every other day , Af vitality and aminos alternate with AF reef energy and AF reef Build .
Parameters are stable
KH 7.9-8.2
PH8.0-8.2
Nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
Nitrate 9.2
Phosphate 0.03
Cal 425
MG 1500

I see heavy recession over dying but caused by stress by factors such excess water flow, high phos ( assure you have a true reading- get a water sample tested if you have to ) and also caused by too much light, low calcium (below 400) and feed mysis shrimp 2x a week rather than Reef roids, AB+ if adding these products

I did change my flow mode on my Nero 3 from pulse to random mode. Maybe that’s the cause .
