Hammer head coral ?

Hi,

I have a Hammer head coral frag and it’s been doing really well lately went from 1 head to 4 in last 3 months today I noticed it’s shrunk so small? Does it usually shrink before splitting?
And just a question is there any change a coral beauty would peck at it?

If they're branching hammers I've had them split multiple times with smaller heads than the original which they then proceeded to grow larger themselves before splitting again.

I feed them Rods or Reef Roids along with baby brine shrimp on occasion, they'll mainly photosynthetic though.

I'd check your parameters or look for something that's bothering it. The only time any of mine shrink is late at night then reopens in the morning.

It’s opened but not as much as it normally does I did add my coral beauty back 3 days ago though so worried it’s him

dang it honestly first time I introduced him I lost a birdsnest frag now introduced him and lost a zoa frag I’m making up 101 excuses to say it’s not him how do I even get him out the tank again? There’s no way I’m catching him in here

I tried watch today for like 30 mins HES always hiding as soon as I walk away I see him running around I don’t want to lose any more coral

Looks like its need feed or dont like something not happy?
