Hey, just wondering if anyone ever saw its hammer head with a single elongated polyp like this.
Does it have a meaning?

War is nigh.....seriously, what other corals are nearby? Cause sweepers usually mean they are trying to reach out and attack something. Can they be used to grab food, sure, but most corals also have normal tentacles for that. For instance, if you see a favia or chalice send out its sweepers, it is definitely trying to kill something. And probably will in both cases. Hammers, frogspawn, and torched are the same. If they feel threatend or decide they want more living space thatvis currently occupied by a neighbor, they will send out sweepers to conquer the space in the name of their god, Sponge Bob.

Not much around a small piece of montipora maybe :/
Its still far in my opinion

Even if the currents doesnt connect them?
Oh yeah. I had to move my favia off into its own little corner of the tank after it kept reaching out to kill one of my mushrooms. I was also worried that it would go after my Blastomussa Merletti which was right next to the mushroom.
