My favorite blue/gold wall hammer is acting all out of sorts the last 2 days. It's been in there for 3 months with no issues - can anyone suggest anything to help? I've attached a video showing what it looks like, as well as the other hammers and frogspawns around it. Stats are:

100 gallon tank with 36 gallon sump/fuge
Hybrid t5/LED lighting

SG - 1.024
ph - 7.92
alk - 8.9
PO4 - .113
NO3 - 10
Ca - 455
Mg - 1245

Nothing has changed much other than feeding the fish with General Cure/Focus in their regular food for the past 10 days to combat some white/stringy poop.

It's receding it's tissue.
Hard to save a wall hammer when it starts that.

Has your shrimp been picking at it. Or other corals hitting it with sweeper tentacles?

Looks like some Plays are close by.

@DSC reef
Would you dip it?

Looks like a wall hammer. Any that we tried to keep all did the same thing while the branching hammers did very well. Unfortunately I dont think there is much you can do at this point but a dip in a iodine solution won't hurt. I don't see any brown jelly so that's good.

I haven't noticed the shrimp paying any attention to it, and there are a few inches between it and the other Euphyllia. It's possible that some sweepers have been getting it, but it hasn't been a problem up until now - it has been an amazing piece until 2 days ago.

Thanks - I'll try an iodine dip.

Try to dip it, but I had one do this last month and within about a week and half it was completely dead.
