Seen this on a few of my hammer corals yesterday and today, any idea on what's going on ?

They can and do release a slime like substance, not sure exactly what it is technically, but usually when they are stressed or angry

Yeah sorry, I'm trying to upload a video of it. It's a branching hammer coral, Maybe 8 heads. I've had it for about 4 months. I also have two small frogspawn 3 heads in total. Had them for longer. They're not "smoking" but they're sick looking. The only new coral was introduced a month ago and it was a hammer frag from WWC. Which is doing great.

Not sure if this is a clue or just them PMSing but they're also no opening.

Probably is a clue, but not sure if it's the same thing causing the hammers to be unhappy, or from the hammers being unhappy? Have you changed anything in the tank past couple days? No change in lighting? Have you ran through any tests?

That’s what spawning looks like.
