Hammer, no growth in 6 months?

So I've had this Hammer with only 2 heads for the past 6 months and haven't seen any growth from it. Looks good, full polyp extension, low to med back and forth flow. Just 4-5 inches away I have a Duncan that I got at the same time and has gone from 1 head to 6. Any ideas? The rest of my corals seem to be growing great.

Last readings that have been consistent:

SG 1.026 - IO Hydrometer
Temps 77-79 - Digital Zoo Med
pH 7.8 - API test
Ammonia 0 ppm - API test
Nitrite 0 ppm - API test
Nitrate 0 ppm - API test
Phosphate .015 - Red Sea test
Mag 1480 ppm - Red Sea test
Alk 8.4 dKH - Red Sea test
Ca 490 ppm - Red Sea test

I also broadcast feed on alternate days Reef Chili, AquaVitro fuel and Red Sea Reef Energy. Both pumps in feed mode(10 mins off).

Mine did grow 1 head months ago and it is not fully opening and no signs of Brown jelly disease. Used to like Hammer but it seems sensitive compare to my Frogspawn and Torch that are doing well.

Hammer with 1 head for 9 months. But this one head has doubled in size. Maybe they get to a certain size before growing new heads? Less stress that way? Than again my last Hammer grew heads like crazy.

I noticed mine gets bigger when I feed it Small shrimp like plankton
And before I wouldn't open as much I deep it in lugo's coral dip and it seems to help

Some times a coral Is not happy In the tank . I just moved a single head Duncan from my 29 gal to my 60 gal .It`s been there for two weeks and has 4 baby head growths on It . It`s been In my 29 gal for a year with no growth .

The hammer looks healthy. The flesh is wrapped outside and onto the skeleton. When it it just at the top it is not healthy. Many divide heads some grow new ones on base, like your duncan. I have some that grow much slower than others. It may be they prefer something slightly different in water or lighting. This may trigger their growth. Hopefully a Euphyllia master will answer.

Maybe try feeding It 2 times a week that may start It to grow .

Hammers can be very picky. Just move it around to a different spot. Some hammers like lot of flow others don't you just have to play around.

Hammers can take awhile to settle in. I have a "bio hazard" and an orange. The BH took off and the orange has been three heads for about nine months before it took off. Moving it around could help but give it some time in each spot. Don't move it too often.

My method is "a watched coral doesn't grow"

I don't pay any attention. All of a sudden I have 10 hammer heads and 40 frogspawn, etc

I think it's finally starting to get some buds at the base but it's real slow growing. I'm wondering if because it's in an sps dominant tank the water is too pristine?
