I bought a hammer from a reefer and in his pics it opened up super well and nice. However, even the full extensions now in my tank is not as good as the ones in his. I wonder why since my params are very in check and my flow is at a very minimal pulsing wave. First pic is when it was with him, the other two is when its with me

It's lighting spectrum different, i can see you have more red and violet and your seller have mostly is on higher blue setting.

Thanks ! does it look healthy tho...i feel its not as big as previously

I would say it looks healthier in your system.

In the first pic it looks like it's stretching for light. In your tank it looks like nice small tight grouped heads and how they are supposed to look.

IMO the heads should be tightly packed, not long and flowing like in the first pick.

yah it looks more comfortable in your tank!

Looks like it will let go any second now, I'll message my details so you can send it to me to try and rescue! ;)

Looks very happy and healthy. :)

It definitely looks healthy and is just adjusting to your spectrum, some corals adjust for the better some for the worst where they lose the colors we bought them for.

Heres one I purchased from a system that ran all blues, came a deep purple and transitioned over a few months to blue hues, purples and greens in my tank where I run a more balanced spectrum.
